Biomechanics Assessment and Gait Analysis
ChilternWellbeings approach to Gait Analysis
A Biomechanical Assessment evaluates how muscles, bones and joints of the feet and lower limb interact and move. It highlights the structural mal-alignment, or muscle imbalances that predispose patients to feeling pain in the lower back, hips, knees and feet. Sports injuries for example are typically caused by multiple factors including repetitive strain due to inefficient mechanics. The assessment allows us to identify issues and tailor your treatment plan to get you walking, running or competing pain free, whilst offering the best advice to reduce the risk of future injuries.
